ABOUT LEA

The Lake Eufaula Association (LEA) was founded on Oct. 12, 1971, to promote tourism to Lake Eufaula and the surrounding region including 5 counties: McIntosh, Haskell, Pittsburg, Okmulgee, and Muskogee. The association also provides travel information to tourists visiting Lake Eufaula; tourism is our number one industry! Our goal is to advance and improve economic growth in the Lake Eufaula area. Every time someone spends money around Lake Eufaula, they also pay taxes - those tax dollars contribute directly to our schools, help expand our roads, and provide services like police, fire, and rescue. LEA promotes attractions, events, and activities that also attract and increase tourism. We build partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations, and government entities, and are dedicated to working with all who support the vitality of the Lake Eufaula region. LEA is a member of the Oklahoma Lakes and Countries Association and partners with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department to increase overall tourism to Oklahoma. The Lake Eufaula Association utilizes a variety of marketing strategies to promote tourism throughout the region.

Annual membership is very affordable. Increase the visibility of your business or event by becoming a member of the LEA. Our members are vital to our existence; we offer family, business, and corporate memberships with varying benefits at each level. Our marketing efforts include our website VisitLakeEufaula.com, social media, Travel Shows and Expos, the Corps Camper publication, and 80,000 full-color copies of the Lake Eufaula Travel Guide that are distributed all over the nation through Tourist Information Centers, Expos, Literature Distribution Programs, Local Businesses, and through OKTravel.com.

The LEA office also serves as the local tourism information center promoting all aspects of Lake Eufaula. If you have an event happening in the Lake Eufaula area, please send us the information so that we can pass it on to tourists visiting in and around our community. Add your events to our event calendar at info@VisitLakeEufaula.com for free!

Get involved with the Lake Eufaula Association by becoming a member, advertising with us, or participating in one of our local fundraisers like the Golden Eagle Poker Run, Lake Eufaula’s 1st and original poker run.  Stop by the new Tourist Information Center at 851 N. Main Street in Eufaula or call us at 918-689-7751

Executive Director

Rhonda Adams

Hi, I’m Rhonda Adams, and I’ve had the joy of calling Lake Eufaula home for the past 28 years—but my love for this area goes back even further!

Originally born in Ohio, I moved to Oklahoma just before my 5th birthday, growing up in the McAlester and Elm Point area, where my roots in community, connection, and lake life first began.

These days, I’m happily married to the love of my life and a proud mom to a big, beautiful, and busy family—including two sets of twins! Life’s never dull, and now with three sweet grandbabies calling me Memaw's, it’s even more joyful.

My passions? Fishing, traveling, meeting new people, and of course—sharing everything I love about Lake Eufaula with others. Whether it's the peaceful coves, exciting events, or the friendly faces, this place truly has something special.

After nearly three decades of exploring every corner of this lake, I can honestly say: there’s no place like Lake Eufaula. Come visit—you just might fall in love with it too! 💙
